The Lighter Side of Low-Carb: No More Aspartame for me!

Okay everybody's got to read this post by one of my favorite low carbers. Good stuff on that site stop and read awhile.

I can't tell you how much better I feel because of cutting that crap out of my life.

Just having the numbness gone from my face-- I mean, how many people walk around with numb faces and get used to it?

Me! Now I know.

I used to suspect aspartame, but the movie "Sweet Misery" made me realize that the stuff is a neurotoxin and sheer, pure poison.

Run away!

And stay away from Splenda as well. If it's manufactured in a lab, I would stay far away... even Diet Coke with its claims of 'purifying' stevia puts me in fits. Stevia is pure as--concept--stevia. When a lab and Coke gets hold of it, it will probably make people's bits fall off.

Stick with natural and stay away from the chemically-manufactured sweeteners.
